  • question about new born grammostola rosea

hi, my spiderlings are about 2 weeks now and they have all got a black patch on their abdo i was told they would go brown is this normal, i have checked for any signs of a fungus or bacteial growth but i cannot see any, please help i'm worried bout my little ones.
is it just a sign they are going to have their final moult i have been told that they have 1 last moult due until they are spiderlings apparently they are only stage 2 nymphs at the mo.

They will go dark and then eventually moult into spiderlings, don't worry, it may take a little time, none of mine read the book and take thier own sweet time over it.

hi, dont panic to much, remember that all our sweet little slings are just like us really.
we all grow at different rates, and all matured at different times..your slings will change soon enough,i think sometimes we all read up on what should be happening but this aint always the case.
time will tell..let us all know how things are going....

My B Boehmei sling has been in my care now for just over 3 weeks and has the patch you are talking about, seems perfectly happy none the less.

Still eating, and occasionally climbing the walls.

Apparantly B Boehmei is slow grower, but I expect he'll moult soon.
All those legs and not a pair of shoes in sight... Nice tarsus tho...
