The British Tarantula Society has been organising events for many years and this year we are holding our 38th Annual Exhibition at the amazing Warwickshire Event Centre.  This year we welcome over 100 exhibitors to the event with a mind-blowing array of inverts and arachnids. It’s a great day out for both the enthusiast and those who wish to learn a little more about these fantastic creatures. A fun family day out is guaranteed. Come along and meet the BTS Road Crew.

What is the 38th BTS Exhibition?

• We have most if not all of the biggest exhibitors in the UK hobby. From spiders to scorpions, beetles to bugs, jewellery, soft toys, original artwork and so much more we have everything you will ever need or want. This year we have 260 tables packed with invert related goodies.
• The Famous BTS Spider Competition : Described in the press as the “Crufts” of the spider world we bring together the very best of the spiders and scorpions kept in the hobby. Take part and win amazing trophies or who knows even the coveted “Best in Show Award “ may be yours. We also run an artwork (children’s and adult) and photography competition.
• Our Mission: The aim of the British Tarantula Society is to promote and encourage the responsible husbandry, research, captive breeding, conservation and general knowledge of theraphosids, scorpions and associated fauna. This year we celebrate 40 years of the founding of the club and have always been for the hobby and never profit.
• A Great Family Day out: With FREE secure onsite parking for 2000 cars, a 200-seat licensed restaurant and excellent disabled facilities the BTS and the WEC invite families to enjoy a wonderful day out and to improve their knowledge of our invertebrate friends. There is also a large paddock area that is ideal for picnics
• Sounds great how do I attend ? : Payment can be on the door by cash or card or you can purchase an online ticket for the event. This is a popular show and we do get a lengthy queue but the guys of the BTS are experts at getting everyone in quickly. Once you are given a wristband you may come and go as you like all day.
